Which Markdown syntax is supported?

GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM): tables, task lists, strikethrough and autolinks, with syntax highlighting in code blocks.

Are Mermaid diagrams rendered?

Yes. mermaid blocks become SVG in the page. On a syntax error, a box flags it and a warning is shown.

Is HTML written in my Markdown executed?

No, it is escaped and shown as text. The resulting page contains no script.
