Convert PNG to JPG
For a photo, a JPG is often far smaller than a PNG. Set the quality, drop your PNG files and download the JPG results.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my PNG's transparency?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent pixels are flattened onto a white background.
Which JPG quality should I pick?
The default of 85 is a good balance between sharpness and size. Go down to 60 for smaller files, up to 95 for detailed images.
Is my metadata kept?
No. EXIF data and GPS location are removed from the resulting JPG, and the photo's orientation is applied.
